Week 4 College Picks-Results

- (4) Oklahoma at Tulsa - Did I say stumble? I meant rumble. Impressive performance by the freshman quarterback against a sorry Tulsa defense. 62-21 Oklahoma ... got it wrong.
- East Carolina at (5) W. Virginia - Good ol' fashion butt whoopin'. 48-7 W. Virginia ... nailed it!
- (3) Florida at Mississippi - Can you please put an unranked team away by more than 6 points when you are ranked in the top 5? 30-24 Florida ... got it wrong.
- Washington State at (1) USC - OK. Garbage time didn't make a difference. SC very impressive against a not so bad Wazzu team. Any doubt about the passing game now? 47-14 USC ... got it wrong.
- (10) Penn State at Michigan - Michigan gets a must win against a quality, yet somewhat overrated, Penn State team. Can they salvage the season? 14-9 Michigan ... nailed it!
- Washington at UCLA - Coach Dorrell can breath again... at least for the week. UCLA comes through when they absolutely had to. 44-31 UCLA ... nailed it!
- New Mexico State at Auburn - Auburn makes a statement... down but not out. Put up a ton of points, but maybe should of saved a few for next week. 55-20 Auburn ... nailed it!
- (22) Georgia at (16) Alabama - Saban is not God after all! Alabama loses a nail-biter and Georgia shows that it can win a big game, on the road, in a hostile environment. 26-23 Georgia ... nailed it!
- Michigan State at Notre Dame - They scored! Notre Dame finally gets an offensive touchdown, but how about a little defense boys. They couldn't quite cover the 12.5 points, but at least they looked like a football team for the first time this season. 31-14 State ... got it wrong.
-(12) South Carolina at (2) LSU - Hmmm... we sure this is the number 2 team in the nation? Not very impressive but they get the job done. For claiming to be the best team in the country, they better be a bit more dominant at home against a lesser opponent. 28-16 LSU ... got it wrong.

Recap: 5 - 5 this week. A bit disappointed in my performance, but still not bad. 50%? A whole lot better percentage than the other two clowns/editors on this web site. Stay tuned for my week 5 picks.
