GROSS Display at Soldier Field

The defending NFC champion Chicago Bears hosted the Dallas Cowboys on Prime Time TV Sunday night, and boy did they treat them well. The Cowboys trounced the Bears 34-10, led by Tony Romo's 329 pass yds and 2 tds. Bears' qb Rex Grossman on the other hand, well, didn't have his greatest game, 195 yds, 3 picks, no tds, 27.5 rating. Let's not blame Rex for the loss, as there's only so much one can do when the talent is not there. Look on the bright side, he threw for 195 yds and rushed for 12 without fumbling. The Bears' problems don't stop at the qb position. They traded away 1,200 yd rusher Thomas Jones for some footballs, putting all their eggs in one basket with Cedric Benson. Their defense does not seem as dominant as they used to be either. Headh Coach Lovie better replace Grossy with the Skipper or the Professor if he intends on a return visit to the Superbowl.
