Shawn Marion of the Phoenix Suns has announced that he wants out of the Suns organization. He is reportedly interested in the Lakers. Why would he do such a thing? The Lakers are not even a playoff team nor will they be with him in the mix. While Marion is a great player, why would he want to leave the Suns, who are on the verge of winning a title. They have the best point guard in the league in Steve Nash and one of the top centers in Amare Stoudamire. Coming to the Lakers will kill his career and any chances of winning a ring. You better think this one through Matrix: Farmar v. Nash, Kwame v. Amare, the bench of Walton Radmonovic and co. vs. Barbosa and Diaw? This makes no sense... He might have to give himself a new nickname when he comes to town, maybe just trix for the ones he'll be turning for Kobe before Kobe abandons him and the team after next season.
