This week's B.O.W. goes to LJ, RB from the Kansas City Chiefs. Now let me be the first to say that I am a diehard Chiefs fan. With that said, this guy sucked it up today and maybe this award is a little personal. He held out in the offseason for more money and missed 3 of 4 preseason games. As such, he entered the season with little conditioning/practice and the result: 10 rushes, 43 yds in a good ol' fashion Texans' whipping. LJ put himself ahead of the team, an example of what we consider a TRUE modern day athlete. Now his team is off to a bad start in what was supposed to be an easy game. Thanks, LJ. That's why you'll never be considered the best back in the game. If Dick Vermeil was still around, he tell you "Take off your diapers and play!" right after he stops crying.
