Corliss Williamson will be retiring from the NBA, at the ripe old age of 33. Williamson was stud at Arkansas and led the Razorbacks to their only National Championship against Duke. He was drafted #13 by the Kings in 1995 but his transition into the NBA wasn't so smooth. At 6-7, 245 and an avg J, Corliss never met the expectations of the League. Too short for a power forward and to slow for a small forward, Nasty bounced around the league for 12 years, from the Pistons, to the Sixers, to the Raptors, eventually ending up back in Sacramento. He did have some success in 1997 with the Kings where he averaged 17.7 pts and 5.7 rbds. He also scored 15.2 pts and collected 6.3 boards with the Pistons in 2000 and won the 6th

man award in Williamson always played bigger than he actually was. The league will be losing one of the few "good guys" left. Corliss will be heading back home as an assistant coach at Arkansas Baptist College. Farewell Corliss, as you will alway be remembered the victories you brought me in Coach K (Sega Genesis), the best college basketball video game of all time.
