A Sight for Sore Eyes

SC fans won't be seeing this image this weekend for the season opener. "It's not likely he will be ready to go this week," said head coach Pete Carroll after practice Monday. Sidelined with a sprained shoulder, Washington is not expected to play this week, in hopes of his return against Nebraska on Sept. 8th. With the loss of Moody, who recenlty transfered to Florida, and now Washington, USC has lost 2 of its 3 dominant RBs from last year. SC fans worried? I don't think so. SC has plenty of depth at the RB position, inlcuding C.J. Gable who rushed for 434 yds and 4 tds in the '04 season-he can carry the load. Stafon Johnson, Allen Bradford, and Broderick Green will all share playing time at the position. Highly touted freshman phenom Joe McKnight is what the country is waiting to see. This guy's supposed to be an unstoppable monster. I hope Idaho's not counting out the running game. BEAT THE VANDALS!!!
